Many people ask, "Will one kit reline the upper and the lower?"
The answer depends on your particular situation. The two main factors that need to be taken into consideration are how much void you need to fill (how loose your denture is) and how small/large the denture is.
Is there enough SILICONE in one kit to reline an upper and a lower?
Every denture situation very unique, so the following scenarios are broad generalizations.
Typical Amount of Silicone Used in an Upper
One standard kit (2 applicators of silicone) is intended to reline one denture plate (moderate looseness). Most people require 2 applicators of silicone to get snug. So, if you are of medium looseness on the upper, the regular kit will likely only reline the upper.
If one has only minor looseness on the upper (or already has a good fit and is simply using the silicone for cushioning), usually one silicone will suffice on the upper. So, in that case, one kit might be enough to reline the upper and the lower.
Typical Amount of Silicone Used in LOWER
The lower has less "real estate" to cover because it lacks a palate, so most people require 1 silicone on the lower. Exceptions are a larger denture or ones with major looseness.
Is there enough PRIMER to prime an upper and a lower?
Yes. If the primer is used as directed, there is enough primer to prime both the upper and the lower. Make sure you only dip the foam swab in the primer once and do it quickly. Tightly cap the vial after dipping.
Should I reline the upper or lower first?
You will need to reline your UPPER FIRST because you need to use your upper to properly seat your LOWER so that your bite is correct. So, focus on getting the upper snug and then move on to the lower.

If you have not used DenSureFit before and you want to reline an UPPER and LOWER, the SNUG-UP KIT might be a good option for you. The Snug-Up KIT has 3 silicone applicators and is usually enough silicone to reline most people's upper and lowers.
