The Snug-Up KIT is a kit designed for newer denture wearers whose gums are rapidly changing. It is also perfect for those who reline their dentures while inflammation is present and then the denture loosens as inflammation decreases.
The Snug-Up KIT is ideal for those who require a full kit to reline their denture but who will also need a couple smaller snug-up applications after their initial application.
The extra applicator of silicone that comes with the Snug-Up KIT may be applied to the trough area (on the wall) after the initial DenSureFit liner loosens.
MODERATELY LOOSE? Apply the entire applicator to the wall of the denture following the Snug-Up instructions in the booklet that came with your kit. A Quick Guide is also provided below.
MINOR LOOSENESS? Apply approximately half the applicator now and save the other half for later. One half the applicator is approximately ONE LINE of silicone around the middle of the wall of the UPPER denture or about ONE LINE of silicone to the bottom of the trough of the LOWER denture. If you use half now and save the other half for later, you'll need to use the Snug-Up Tip that comes with your Snug-Up KIT when you use the 2nd half of the applicator.
After you use the 1st half of the silicone applicator, LEAVE ON THE USED TIP! The silicone will set up in the mixing tip after you use it. This cured silicone in the tip keeps the remaining silicone in the chamber of the applicator AIR TIGHT so that you can use the rest later.
WHEN YOU ARE READY to use the 2nd half of the silicone, unscrew the used tip and screw on the new Snug-Up Tip. Use the silicone immediately!
