Comparing Cushion Grip and DenSureFit.
DenSureFit and Cushion Grip are in 2 different categories, so we cannot compare them “apples to apples”.
Cushion Grip is a thermoplastic adhesive and it is in the adhesive category while DenSureFit is in the soft reline category.
We have many DenSureFit customers who were previous Cushion Grip users. They report that they are thrilled with DenSureFit and some even say they would never go back to Cushion Grip now that they have DenSureFit!

- Both are intended to be temporary products, but DenSureFit is made to last longer in the denture and stays soft and in place for 3 months or more.
- Cushion Grip requires reapplication much sooner than DenSureFit
- DenSureFit is made of the same high-quality soft reline materials that many dentists use and is considered the "holy grail" of soft reline materials by many. It is the first and only "at-home" over-the-counter reline kit that uses vinyl polysiloxane (DenSureFit silicone). It is tasteless, odorless and has no burning.
- Cushion Grip was not a product used by dentists in the dentist office.
- Cushion Grip tends to harden in the denture over time.
- DenSureFit never gets hard in the denture. It remains in its soft, supple state for months at a time.
- DenSureFit silicone is build-able and can be applied over itself to provide a snug-up as your gums reduce in size.
- Cushion Grip is not build-able. It needs to be removed and reapplied as gums shrink and the denture loosens.
