If you tried to use your silicone applicator, but the silicone squished out the sides of the tip, there are 2 ways this can happen.
There are two reasons why someone may experience silicone expressing out the sides of the tip instead of the point of the tip. No worries! Sometimes that happens when someone first uses it. Next time, you'll want to be sure to hold the orange applicator part firmly with one hand, and with the other hand, twist the clear wing tabs in the direction of the black arrow.
If silicone expresses out the sides, it has not been properly mixed and therefore, it should not be used. It will not set up properly and will remain sticky. Call DenSureFit at 844-682-3368 and let us know what happened!
Problem #1: The clear tip was turned in the opposite direction of the black arrow. When this happens, the tip partially unscrews and then when the silicone is expressed out, it comes out the open sides instead of the tip.
Problem #2: The orange barrel was turned in the direction of the black arrow instead of the clear wings of the tip. When the orange barrel is turned instead of the clear tip in the direction of the black arrow, the tip is partially unscrewed. Then, when the plunger is pressed, the silicone is forced out the small gap in the sides instead of the point on the tip.
