Is DenSureFit like Reline-It?

Find out how DenSureFit differs from other over-the-counter "at-home" reline kits.

Question: Is DenSureFit like the kind you can buy in Walmart, Rite Aid, Walgreens….?

Great question! While DenSureFit is in the same "over-the-counter" category as other "at-home" over-the-counter reline kits, there are many differences between DenSureFit and others you can find at a store and online. Examples of other over-the-counter reline kits are Reline-It, Sensi-Dent, Pro Soft and PermaSoft.

OTHER TRADITIONAL "AT-HOME" RELINE KITS

  • require messy mixing of a powder and liquid
  • have unpleasant odor
  • has unpleasant taste that can linger for days, changing the taste of food
  • might have a burning sensation caused by a thermo-chemical heat reaction. This burning sensation can make holding the denture in the mouth during the application process very unpleasant
  • tend to harden in the denture over time

DenSureFit IS DIFFERENT!

DenSureFit is THE INNOVATIVE AND MODERN "AT-HOME" RELINE KIT THAT USES DENTAL-GRADE SILICONE

  • DenSureFit silicone is a lighter-weight reline material than the other. It is dentist-grade and is considered by many the "holy grail" of all reline materials available to dentists.
  • DenSureFit is ODORLESS and TASTELESS.
  • DenSureFit has NO burning sensation.
  • DenSureFit requires no messy mixing. The patented applicator self-mixes for easy application.
  • DenSureFit can last for months in the denture. When the denture gets loose because of shrinking gums, the silicone is able to be layered. Simply apply more silicone in the trough area following the Snug-Up instructions in the kit and keep those teeth snug!

On average, users tend to leave DenSureFit in their denture for about 3 months before replacing. The silicone stays soft in the denture and does not harden. It is temporary and can be removed. It can stay in your denture for weeks or months. The average amount of time people tend to keep DenSureFit in their denture before removing and replacing is about 3 months.

While the soft liner stays adhered to your denture, your denture still needs to be removed every night to soak in a denture cleanser and to allow your mouth to breathe.

DenSureFit is NOT adhesive.

  • DenSureFit is in the soft reline category while adhesives are obviously in the adhesive category.
  • They are two completely different products and should not be looked at in the same way. Adhesives need to be applied daily and simply helps a denture to stay in place. Adhesive does not make the denture fit properly.
  • On the other hand, DenSureFit actually makes the denture FIT PROPERLY by filling the voids and gaps that are making the denture loose with soft flexible silicone.

If one requires extra security of an adhesive along with their DenSureFit lining, a powder adhesive may be applied on top of the DenSureFit liner.

Many people are able to completely eliminate adhesive-use by using DenSureFit. Others may still require an adhesive on top of the DenSureFit liner, but they are able to switch from using much paste adhesive to a sprinkling of powder adhesive. They report being very satisfied with DenSureFit because now their denture fits properly and they don't have the hassle of removing the paste adhesive every night because the powder adhesive does not stick to the mouth like the pastes do. A huge improvement in the way they live their life, they report.

AVERAGE COST OF ADHESIVE VS. COST OF DenSureFit

  • Average monthly cost of adhesive: $15-20
  • Average monthly cost of DenSureFit: $16.65 (assuming full price is paid for a kit and they liner remains in the denture for 3 months: $49.95/12 weeks = $16.65

One happy and satisfied DenSureFit customer, Jan Brown, has this to say about the cost of DenSureFit, "Just to give you an insight on how spending 50 bucks on DenSureFit has worked out for me cost-wise.... I have purchased the product twice, my first purchase is still working beautifully. I just purchased another kit to have on-hand. The product has lasted 4 months and still doing its job! That cost is about 3 bucks a week to have comfortable dentures, no sores, no glue, able to eat again and speak clearly without worry. It's easy to use, and has changed my miserable situation into a happier tolerable one. Everyone is different but for me, this was the best 50 bucks I've ever spent!"
