How much does DenSureFit cost?

Find out about the cost of DenSureFit, how long it usually lasts, how it compares to the cost of denture adhesive, and the procedure for applying DenSureFit.

The price for 1 kit is $49. There is a “free shipping” option available when purchasing in the US.

One kit is designed and intended to reline 1 denture plate, either the upper or the lower, and includes (1) primer, (2) silicone tubes and (2) swabs. Most people require 2 tubes of silicone to get snug (medium looseness).

Most people leave their liner in their denture for around 3 months, provided it is being kept clean and free from bacteria, is not lifting/peeling, and is comfortable. If the denture gets loose and the liner is still in good condition, the silicone is able to be layered. More silicone may be added on top of an existing liner in order to snug up the denture when gums shrink and the denture loosens.

DenSureFit can seem costly, but when you understand what you're getting, (think about this as a soft professional reline that your dentist would do anywhere from $250 on up) it makes more sense.

One DenSureFit customer, Jan Brown, has this to say about the cost of DenSureFit, "Just to give you an insight on how spending 50 bucks on DenSureFit has worked out for me cost-wise.... I have purchased the product twice, my first purchase is still working beautifully. I just purchased another kit to have on-hand. The product has lasted 4 months and still doing its job! That cost is about 3 bucks a week to have comfortable dentures, no sores, no glue, able to eat again and speak clearly without worry. It's easy to use, and has changed my miserable situation into a happier tolerable one. Everyone is different but for me, this was the best 50 bucks I've ever spent!"

Most denture wearers would love to be able to visit their dentist for hard and soft relines with much more frequency to keep their dentures fitting well. Between the cost of professional relines and the sparse relines offered in most denture plans, unfortunately, dentist relines usually don’t happen as often as they are necessary.

So, between professional adjustments, people are left with 2 options. Either they can just deal with the ill-fitting denture and use adhesive every day to keep their denture in place OR they can use an over-the-counter reline kit like DenSureFit to make the ill-fitting denture fit well and reduce or eliminate adhesive-use.

And speaking of adhesives, many DenSureFit users report that they spend LESS on DenSureFit that they were previously spending on adhesive! Check out the cost comparison:

AVERAGE COST OF ADHESIVE VS. COST OF DenSureFit

  • Average cost of adhesive: $15-20/month
  • Average cost of DenSureFit: $16/month (assuming full price is paid for a kit and they liner remains in the denture for 3 months)

For most people, the two options of purchasing adhesive or purchasing DenSureFit generally averages out to costing roughly the same or sometimes even less than adhesive.

People who wear an ill-fitting denture and use denture adhesive to keep their denture in can face many challenges associated with ill-fitting dentures.

Health Costs: Poorly fitting dentures lead to poor nutrition. Adhesives starts dissolving while eating and drinking. The dentures move around easily making it difficult to chew good nutritious foods. Poor nutrition can lead to many other conditions including osteoporosis, muscle weakness, cardiovascular disease, and pneumonia. The inability to chew has also been linked to an increased risk of dementia. Also, when dentures don’t fit well, they put undue pressure on the ridges. This pressure makes the bone dissolve away.

Happiness Costs: People with poorly fitting dentures have a lower quality of life. They are less happy with their lives and appearance, and are more likely to avoid social situations. Many people dislike using adhesive so much that the just spot wearing their denture and choose to stay at home, instead.

The number one complaint that most people have about dentures is adhesive!

DenSureFit is a game changer! It is no wonder that people choose to reline their denture with DenSureFit if they can reduce or eliminate adhesive-use for about the same cost, eat more variety of healthier foods, and have a healthier/happier social life to boot!
